EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Learning is one of the great gifts our Creator has endowed us with, and Trinity Episcopal Church takes the stewardship of that gift seriously. Throughout the year there are chances for folks young and old to study, ask questions and share stories with one another that help all of us grown in our knowledge and love of God and of one another.

BIBLE STUDY

On Wednesday evenings (except during Lent) members of Trinity gather for Bible Study from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Ginnie-Lee McCaddin helps to organize the study and guide the discussion, but there’s no telling where this group of hungry Bible Scholars will wind up the evenings inquiry. Regardless of how much or how little you think you know about the Bible, your questions and insights are always welcome.

CONFIRMATION & ADULT INQUIRERS

This class is organized as needed to prepare our young people for confirmation and to prepare adults who are seeking reception into the Episcopal Church. The history, liturgy, theology and mission of the Episcopal Church is explored as well as Trinity’s own history and mission. If you would like more information about confirmation or reception into the Episcopal Church, please contact the parish office at 926-5688.

THE VILLAGE PRE-SCHOOL

The Village Pre-School is a not-for-profit preschool which occupies the undercroft of Trinity Church. Although independently owned and operated, Trinity Church supports the mission of The Village Pre-School to provide the solid building blocks for a successful education to all children regardless of their family’s ability to afford tuition. For more information about The Village Pre-School call the school’s director, Ginny Bridle-Russell at 929-7349.

LENTEN STUDY PROGRAM

Each Lent we gather on Wednesday evenings for worship, dinner and an organized study program. Past programs have included explorations of prayer, a study of the icons of our faith, and a discussion of Marcus Borg’s book The Heart of Christianity.
